2010 IEEE PES Transmission and Distribution Conference and Exposition
Thank you for attending the New Orleans Exposition last week - by all reports it was a great event for you and our attendees. The Opening Reception at the Aquarium has been getting rave reviews by all and the Local Organizing Committee is to be congratulated.
Our pre-registration numbers were tracking a bit ahead of the Chicago '08 finals of 12,545 but the final verified registration numbers are as follows:
Conference attendees - 5,188 - in this number were 1,304 "exhibits only" attendees
Students - 283 - made for a very well attended Job Fair!
Press - 19
Companion - 303
Attendee total: 5,793
Exhibitor personnel - 5,365 we count exhibitors as qualified attendees as so many do business with other exhibiting companies.
Total verified registrations - 11,158
Of this total, 1,555 were international visitors.
Total number of exhibiting companies was 708 occupying 201,150 net square feet of space.
